I have long been a supporter of nuclear power with the right controls of course.Its clean and needs no storage.
Clean, efficent, takes less space for nuclear power plant, last longer as a source of power. Unlike coal power plants, nuclear power gets more bang for the buck without the air pollution. Only draw back, spent rods. But with the right percausions, nothing to worry about.
Does not produce green house gasses. It's available *now*, as opposed to, say, hydrogen fuel cells which are largely still "coming soon."
Newer reactor designs are much safer and more efficient than the uranium and plutonium reactors we built during the 50s and 60s.
