I think it was the Sandy Hook shooting in Newtown, CT, simply because the children were so young. But I might be biased, because I grew up in the next town over, and I was still living there when the shooting happened. In fact, the surviving students currently attend class in the building that used to be my middle school. I have never been prouder of Monroe, my hometown. But I'm rambling...sorry!
In terms of deaths...............Virginia Tech leads, with 32 deaths.
Sandy Hook, is a close second with 27.........but most of those were Young children, compounding the tragedy. Not that shooting college students isn't horrific........but first graders?
that was just particularly nasty and horrific. Kids aren't even safe in the 1 st grade anymore?

the virgiinia tech shooting. 30+ people died... it was pretty cool that many died... i was cheering of the body count... just amazing one person could cause that much havoc with a guns
Any time any child dies is the worst. Quantity isn't a value in death.
