Mr Qaddafi was a 'Child of the Sixties', a romantic who championed the people he saw as the downtrodden of the world; Palestinians, Latin American poor people, Irish Catholics, Black Americans, British Coal miners fighting the 'Thatcher Government'. When you become involved like he did in High Pressure disputes with power full Governments, you put your head on the chopping Block, which is what happened to him. Bin Laden was a cold blooded murderer who killed people because he enjoyed killing people. The best work the U.S. Navy did was killing him. But it was sad to see Mr Qaddafi being murdered, but when you mess with the Big Guys, like he did, they do not forgive or forget.
No, I don't think so. I think bin laden was more of a terrorist/islamist, whereas Gaddafi was someone who welcomed the western way of life into Libya, he was probably a terrible leader or a tyrant people may describe him, but bin laden is someone who would have someone kill his own brother if he felt betrayed.
Qaddafi was equally evil as Bin Laden...he was just incompetent when it came to international terrorism.
Yes.
He used his leader-position to abuse many people.
Bin Laden was simply a militant.
Gaddafi was mentally unstable - he turned over the Lockerbie Bomber and made peace with the west
A Canadian Prime Minister shook hands with him.
The Lockerbie bomber came down with Cancer and was released from a Scottish jail on compassionate grounds - on his return to Libya Gaddafi gave him a hero's welcome.
Who was more evil:Gaddafi or Bin Laden? Please explain why and give some examples of evil/good things they did.
