In my opinion, most likely because we've seem to have forgotten every other massacre date in history.

You were right.I had never heard of it. But the circumstances were totally different. The crash into the Empire State Building was a accident in bad weather and also in war time.
9/11 of course was a dastardly terrorist attack. No it wont ever be forgot.
Your right and wrong like they said it'll be in the books and we remeber others just not as recent but what about the school shooting on April 20 1999 at Columbine High School and 13 people died and Rachel's Challenge
probaly will only be remebered in History Books
and as more and more from 7 Dec 41 die the less it wil be talked about and only remebered in some movies and history books
The people that lived back then are getting fewere and fewer each day
take the time and talk to WWII Veterans they have stories that are not in books from that war
The people who are into history will always know about it and never forget it. Just like ''Pearl Harbor'' and ''The Revolutionary war'' 9/11 will also be taught in US history books.
We will not remember it like we do know, but it will still be there. 9/11 is already written down in history and is basically the reason for a war, so it is a pretty important date.
I hope not.
It's the defining event of the 20th century.
So far.
Until Iran and Israel go to war.....now that will be a game changer.
Some people will forget, yes. Eventually everyone will. I think in the nearer future though (next couple hundred years) people will remember and honor those lost on that day.
I don't think we will forget it, we still remember the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Boston massacre.
No, not as long as those names remain on the monument at "Ground Zero" in Manhattan.
I won't and don't. It's Jesus' real birthday, September the eleventh, 3BC coincidentally, also the 911 call for help.
Check this website for startling proof. http://www.cortright.org/revsign.htm
In your opinion, 100 years from now will society have forgotten 9/11?
In my opinion, most likely because we've seem to have forgotten every other massacre date in history.
Yup... Do we still talk about pearl harbor? Nope... This will be gone within a yr or 2. Everyone is getting sick of it
SOMEday... -Just like we already HAVE; 9/10 (of ANY Year).
people tend to remember something that is horrible
