I was 9, so I was at school in my fourth grade class. I lived only about 40 minutes from the Pentagon at the time. I just remember the teacher next door suddenly coming into our classroom looking very upset, and she started whispering to my teacher. All the teachers acted weird all day and me and the other kids knew something was wrong, but no one would tell us anything. A lot of parents started coming to pick up their kids early, though mine didn't since they thought the school was probably the safest place I could be. So when I got home that afternoon I finally found out what had happened becaus my parents had the TV on and my mom explained what happened. RIP to all of the victims of that horrible day. :(
At work. Production manager halted all work. Everyone was in break room watching TV. After 1 hour went back to work. Production for rest of day fell 90%.
