If I die can people find out everything about me?

Not really. Your computer doesn't even keep half that stuff now, so why would anyone be able to get it after you die?

If there's some sort of investigation going on in relation to your death, the police could get a warrant from the court to have your ISP turn over your account to them. However that also assumes that they know what your accounts are in the first place. I mean, PoohbearPenguin obviously isn't my real name, for instance.

Nothing keeps a record of every page you've visited. Even the internet history in your browser is going to be limited and is not intended to present a historical timeline of where you went and when.

Yes but only if it is really necessary as it can cost quite a bit of money in wages for a person to take the time to access internet records. You can't delete web accounts, they are just hidden until you re-activate them if you have deleted them. You could have used a keycard or credit card somewhere. Your phone is in your name?

If you are deemed as someone with "issues" then Federal Authroities have the means to find out everything that you did, been, and done. There are security cameras in nearly all stores, street corners, and in public buildings like libraries and museums. Those recordings are rarely overwritten or deleted.

If you have done something on the internet that has attracted attention, your ISP address could be placed on to a "Watch" list and every site that you visit is recorded "somewhere" so be careful what you say, ask, and write.

yes they can. The Government has all of you identification IDs due to your parents and relatives. Plus, your friends will say stuff about you as a final memoir.

No they doesn't find your details unless the death has a extream cause like you exampled (murder). If your do not share the credentials with some one no one can find your emails, and all the stuff you recieve and send.

It does not really matter to you because you will be dead.

Everybody has a few little secrets we would hope that the world doesn't find out about, we all have our skeletons in the cupboard.

People would only go delving into your personal affairs if there was foul play in the way you died, and this information helped the investigators with their inquiries.

Or if someone else took over ownership of your computer/laptop, and got nosy.

I doubt that you have done anything so bad that people close to you will be so upset.

It's possible you may surprise a few people, but they'll be mourning your death still, so I doubt if they'll take it to heart.

In years to come you'll laugh at your reasons for asking such a question.

well if your dead you wont be able to really care lol. and if your missing, maybe you want someone to find you. So they need clues so its possible, but they would have to get a court order from a judge to obtain that information. (same with phone records, medical records, etc.) I just don't know how the internet history is protected or other social media. but that is a good question!

This is why you're supposed to have a friend who erases your internet history in case something happens.

Say if I get murdered or go missing, or just die from something, and people have to investigate. Can they find out all my email addresses, every message I've send and every page I've been on? I several different email accounts for different things, would they know about them? Would they even be able to find this question? Lol, I'm just curious, because you watch the news and they seem to find out a lot. Just wondering. :)

Thanks.
