no the American Civil and Revolutionary wars were not caused by religious differences. Also many people think that WWII was caused because of the killing of millions of Jewish people. However, it was caused by Germany breaking many of the restrictions set forth by the WWI treaty. they were not supposed to make an army or take back any of the land that was taken from them after they surrendered. Hitler then took back these providences and this angered the British. England finally declared war on the Nazis after blitzkrieg, where Hitler took all of the areas they lost from WWI and crossed into Poland. America wasn't going to enter into the war until we were forced to by the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Japanese. This wasn't part of Hitlers plan. He wanted to take most of the powerful in Europe before he entered into a war with America. If the Japanese forces followed this plan the world could be very different.
I know where this is going, it's just another of the agnostic, atheist claims of no religion = peace stuff. well no, conflict is sadly a human thing, if the diversity of believes brought us to what we're in now guess what would've happened if it is fight over treasures, land, power? it would have been a nuclear war and not less, so religions even in it's wars are mere and 'peaceful' compared to a world without religions.
