He didn't survive the jump. With the nasty weather he wasn't even able to see where he was going to land until maybe 30 seconds before landing. He could have landed in a river for all we know and just drowned. The best skydivers in the world know the conditions in which D.B attempted to jump in and it's was essentially a suicide mission. My personal opinion is that whoever D.B was... he was a sociopath... the fact that he didn't hurt anybody doesn't cancel that out. Sociopaths are extreme risk takers and most of the time feel void unless they are taking a risk or doing something that would cause an extreme adrenaline rush. Sociopaths don't feel fear... they just feel the adrenaline rush which i'm sure D.B was looking forward to. But his arrogance got the best of him and he picked a terrible time to do the heist. It's an incredible story and the fact that he was never found does leave great speculation but D.B i'm more than certain was dead less than 45 minutes after the jump. They have recovered a portion of the money out in the wilderness but not the body. That still isn't enough for me to even consider he is still alive or lived on after that.
Whilst it's true the case of D.B. Cooper remains unsolved, I seem to remember there was some compelling evidence found, that would lead to a belief that he did not survive the jump. I think a briefcase and some papers, or clothing were found years later by one of the original investigators. Sorry I can't be more precise, but it was forty years ago.
Hello.
This is a solid information:
D.B. Cooper is in Japan. He usually hangs around at Starbucks, Roppongi.
You will find him in 2nd floor.

Probably got his parachute tangled in a tree and hung a few feet above ground totally fine.
That is until a bear found him...
Many think that he moved to Brazil and retired to a life luxury after wisely investing his ill gotten grubstake.
I don't know ! The man was an utter rogue, I'd just like to think and hope that he got away with it !
nah, hes dead for sure. we would have heard something by now
D.B Cooper is basically the man who hijacked a plane back in 1971. It's still a unsolved case weather he survived his jump, I'm just wandering what's your opinion?
