It was a storm in a teacup, a damp squib, a complete washout. Here in Cambridgesire, nothing happened. It's a lovely warm, brisk day out there, and the sun is shining.
Nope. What I expected to be like 1987 never materialised. A few old trees down in the park and my patio garden covered in pine needles from the damn tree next door.
Not badly, a few trees have been blown down and obviously caused some accidents with cars.
Also blew my bedroom window open a few times during the night and poured it down.
