3.4 million - hmm...buy a house and a decent car, see what interest you can get off what's left and if its enough to live by comfortably quit your job so someone who's unemployed can have it! (thats one thing that annoys me - people who win the jackpot but say they're going to keep working anyway not NEEDING the money when theres loads of unemployed around who'd cut their right leg off for that job...) if it's something you LOVE then keep doing it by all means, but if you don't really like it give it up if you can get by without...and if you get bored just TRY doing something you love job-wise, it's not as if you can't afford college/uni if you need certain qualifications for it lol
If what you say is true then you are very lucky...buy a really good property and a good car, I think that you should get help with investments but be very careful as there will be plenty of people out there willing to get their hands on some of it.
If you tell everyone you will have to move away from the area as people get very jealous and will not treat you the same again, even your friends.

Don't spend too much cause the IRS will demand a large portion. Also, it's best to give some away to the needy like rescue missions and Samaritan's Purse, and other good orgs. At least I would, so don't get rid of it too fast.
