If hitler didn't kill himself?

How would he have died? Would he have been captured? Would he have escaped? Would he have been killed?

If you are a history junkie like me, the answers to those questions are very simple. Do you know what nation of the four Allied Powers in WWll was given the go ahead to storm Berlin in the last months of the war? The Soviet Union. Hitler knew if the Soviets captured him he would end up in Moscow paraded around in Red Square like a animal and be subjected to interrogations etc. He chose his fate rather then take responsibility for what crimes against humanity he was directly and indirectly known to have in acted. Could he have fled Germany and not been captured? Not a chance. He would of had to left Germany in June 1944, after the D-Day invasion or just before to hide out in a neighboring country. His face was to well known for him to get away scott free. Had the Brits, French or Americans caught him, he would of hung from a rope after the Nurnburg Trials in 1946 like the other war criminals from the German war machine who turned Europe into a graveyard from 1938 until 1945.

If captured by Allied soldiers, he would most likely have been taken prisoner, tried, and hanged on the gallows of the kind used in concentration camps, which does not cause instant death but takes a while.

Even if he had escaped, he would have been recaptured or killed, no matter where he fled.

If he was captured by underground partisans, not official military, I expect his trial and execution would have been very quick, as in the case of the Italian Mussolini, who was shot to death along with his companions and they were hung upside down from the roof of an Esso gas station, where previously the Fascists used to hang and display dead Partisans.

How can anyone answer that? If I was a G.I. and happened upon Adolf Hitler still alive after watching buddies die for years I blow a hole in him instantly. If I am a general who wants the notoriety of being the man that captures Hitler I arrest him. The scenarios are endless and no answer would be correct or incorrect, just a theory as it will always be in what if questions. What if a chicken attacked a goose, who would win? Your question isn't that ridiculous but just as hard to know the answer to.

There have been rumours for years he went to South America (perhaps Argentina) and lived out his life there ? Or as others say if he had been captured he would have been put on trial. But he would never have allowed than. That's why he killed himself, which seems the most likely outcome ?

As I recall, the Allied Forces were literally just outside the bunker when he killed himself.

So chances are he would have been killed in action, or if he tried to escape.

I think there would have been a slim chance that he would have been brought to trial. Someone would have killed him, even if it were a suicide attack.

I believe he would have been captured or killed down the road...

They would have killed him, or if captured, he would have been put on trial at Nuremberg and hanged with a lot of other Nazi scum

He would've have been captured, prosecuted at the Nuremburg Trials, and executed.

Yes, you are exactly right. He would have been.

How would he have died? Would he have been captured? Would he have escaped? Would he have been killed?
