Google through Google Earth has made it rather easy for almost anyone to scope out villages all over the world, perhaps not in real time (yet), but better than most countries had access to just a few years ago.

NSA tries to develop patterns of info & link that to certain people or organizations. They do the same thing with YAHOO.

Depends on how you look at it. The US Government uses Google as an informant. But I don't think that makes Google a spy agency. Just a tool.

Facebook do to spy on people. Thats how they make all of that cash. Selling it to the government. Which is also how they try to crack down of sex offeners on facebook
