-why was there molten steel still hot days after the twin towers came down?
-why did fire fighters say in interviews that they hear explosions at the ground level of the twin towers?
-just how does debris make it's way to twc7 to take down that building when it's down the street?
-was wtc7 scheduled for demolition or not?
-why was the BBC broadcasting live that the wtc7 building had collapsed, when it was still standing in the live background footage behind the reporter???

That depends on the reasons for your obsession. I too have an obsession with 9/11, but that stems from my indirect involvement with Pan Am 103 and my direct involvement in counter-terrorist security (that was at least partly a result of my seeing Lockerbie). If you are looking for conspiracy theory-type answers, then forget it, you will find nothing. I've seen a lot of nonsense (including having been responsible for translating a ludicrous Chinese book that blamed it on the Japanese) about 9/11, but comparisons to the B25 that hit the Empire State Building etc are meaningless and you will not find anything. If you want to find evidence for the strength of the human spirit in how individuals responded to 9/11, then do please continue your research. The self-sacrifice and heroism of those in the World Trade Center and on United Airlines flight 93 should be an inspiration to us all. If you want to study the event to determine how a repeat could be avoided, then all I can do is wish you good luck, a lot of very intelligent people (and me) have already considered these issues, but who knows, maybe you can find something that we missed.
Certainly. A better understanding of physics, for one. But the most positive thing that I've found is reading about all the little instances where people, in the midst of everything that was going on, would stop and help complete strangers.
@Rooster 1. Nobody was standing around waiting to take photos as it was coming in, but don't ignore the plethora of photographs showing plane debris in and around the Pentagon.
2. The video of the plane crashing is easy to find.
3. In an experiment performed for a National Geographic documentary, they burned jet fuel and it got to just over 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. They had suspended a steel beam in the fire and it was weakened enough by the heat that it collapsed in just five minutes.
4. Yes, a Boeing 707 that had very little fuel and was going slow because it was trying to land (this was the most likely scenario for a large plane strike at the time). The Boeing 767s were heavier, going faster and had much more fuel.
5. The fires burned in the debris piles for weeks after the collapses. I've seen one photo of an excavator picking up debris that is red hot. I have not seen anything that conclusively proves that it is molten steel. It could just as easily (actually much more easily) have been aluminum or glass. There are also the photos and videos of some substance dripping out of one corner of the South Tower. Incidentally, this would have been the same area of the building that the majority of the debris from the aluminum-skinned, United Airlines flight 175 would have ended up. Were it actually molten steel or thermite as many "truthers" suggest, this phenomenon would have been distributed evenly around the building.
6. Either the only thing that they could associate with that was close to what they heard was the sound of an explosion (sort of like the people in the mid-west who describe the sound of a tornado as being like a freight train) or they really and truly believe that they heard explosions. Regardless of which is true of the witnesses (and there are probably many who would choose one or the other), it remains that no evidence of explosives were ever recovered in the debris piles.
7. As the floors pancaked, they stripped themselves away from the vertical columns. The columns then leaned out and fell away from the center of the buildings. The furthest travelling ones ending up some 500 - 600 feet away from the Towers. WTC 7 was only 300 feet away from WTC 1.
8. There is no evidence to suggest this, so no.
9. The fires inside of WTC 7 were so intense that the building started to lean and due to fears that it would collapse, the firefighters were pulled out of the building. There are many videos of people talking to those firefighters where they say that the building is probably going to come down. These reports were given to the BBC and probably due to a misunderstanding or miscommunication, "is probably going to collapse" got changed to "has already collapsed". Remember, the reporter prefaced the announcement by saying "Details are very, very sketchy". As to why they still made the announcement with the building still standing behind them? Probably the reporter, the cameraman and maybe even the producer next to them (if there was one), had no idea what WTC 7 looked like. I know I certainly didn't.

Yes that if you look at the events, trends and history prior to that day, and are not blindsided by bias corporate media, you will achieve a greater understanding how a compliciant government killed 3000 of her own citizens to justify illegal wars.
No if you remain conditioned by corporate media, pre-conditioned by apathetic friends and family who fear being called "un-patriotic" or fear of arrest by a crimminalized governemt's servitude, then nothing will change.
It only takes one, then another and so on before the crooks, liers and cheats that attacked icons of American suppremacy are brought to justice. And these crimminals are NOT Muslins, Arab, Jew or any other Christain person from the middle east, but rather the ones that wear $1000 suits and are driven around in expensive vehicles along Wall Street and the US Senate.
