Russia has been invading Ukraine by force of arms and regular Russian military troops. Regular Russian troops took Crimea and all it's Ukraine ports 2 months ago and 'annexed' them.
It is reported by international media that Russian soldier 'paramilitaries' with masked faces and Russian combat gear wrecked the ballot boxes and by gunfire kept Ukraine people from voting today.
The EU put a neonazi group in place, they attacked russian aligned people - these people asked russia for help, russia responded.
This upset the EU / USA who like always want the world their own way.
Russia then placed troops on the border to make it clear they would not tolerate what was happening the west twisted this to make it sound like russia was wrong - when in fact the WEST IS WRONG putting sudoda or whatever the neonazi group is called in power - who are now killing russians.

Why Ukrainians living in USA can not vote today ? Ukrainian people are voting for Ukraine in Russia.
Its simple. Russia invaded Crimea a few weeks ago and took it over by force even though its partof Ukraine. Ukraine decided to have a general election but Russia has taken East Ukraine by force killing thousands of Ukrainian children.
They're not, Ukraine is at Civil War, because Kiev is trying to dominate the people in the East.
You see a lot of Presidential Candidates made promises to 'eliminate' people of Russian descent, which of course is a threat to a lot of people living in Eastern-Ukraine, because they have Russian ancestry.
The big problem in Ukraine is of course that it's a mixed-Nation, many different ethnicities trying to get along, and with the overthrowing of the government(orchestrated by the EU) those tensions came to the surface.
But instead of calming things down, by simply giving all the people a voice, the Interim-Government in Kiev(pushed along by Neonazi influences) is trying to dominate the entire Country.
I have no idea why Russia and Ukraine are at semi-war at the moment. It just all seems confusing. I've been trying to keep up in the news about it but I'd like to know what is causing all the commotion. Could someone clear this up for me and give a better clear understanding please and thanks. I appreciate all the comments.
