His brain is swelling,so they may have to remove part of his skull to allow the brain to swell outside the skull. Personally I dont have a lot of hope. Lets hope I am proven wrong ?

By the sound of it he was taken to hospital for tests and then had this operation.
But if he had a helmet on it must have been one high speed crash and he would have been killed outright i bet had he not had one on.
