I was 20. I had my 3 month old son in a baby bouncer thing on the floor and i was pushing it up and down with my feet talking to my scatty bird. I happened to have itv digital at the time and it was on bbc news 24 or sky news, i dont remember. Anyways i just remember seeing the news flash and this plane going into a massive building that i never even cared about and then a while after the second plane and then eventually i watched them collapse. It felt like a major event unfolding before me and i guess i kinda knew right then that things were gonna change. As such i eventually joined the army 18 months later and was in iraq (basra) by summer 2003

I was 5 or 6, so I didn't know what was going on. Now that I do, I feel sad for the victims, but I don't like the way Muslims are treated as a result. Islam doesn't encourage terrorism, and people need to understand that.

I was in third grade. I didn't understand it at the time, but now I do and I feel really sad about it. However, I also feel really sad about the reaction to it. And I want to apologize to you because, based on your question, it seems like you're Muslim...but I want to apologize (even though I know it doesn't carry much weight because I'm just one person and not part of the government or anything) for everything that America has done to Muslims as a result.

I was 12 and I was eating in the kitchen when my sister came to tell me that America is being attacked,, Honestly i felt happy for a minute cuz of America policy against Arabs and it's support to Israel not out of Islam's beliefs ..Islam never encourages terrorism or killing innocents ..but then when i knew that the victims were innocent civilians i felt really sad for them and May they rest in peace...what about you ???
