By all reports....pretty bad....

Dictator Gadhafi was kicked out in the so called 'Arab Spring' by several rebel and militia groups. Although killing Gadhafi and 2 of his sons....they had no unity of command....and ever since have... fought each other. There is a sort of democratically elected government of Libya but it has no real power.

It's basically.....Somalia Two....

The 'warlords' command (the heads of the ex militia and ex rebel groups, about 6 of them).

The country remains in ruins and these guys just keep popping away at each other with .50 Cal machine guns, AA weapons, mortars, RPG's, and infantry AK-47 rifles. The civilians get in the way and all die.

No end currently in sight. It's basically Somalia Two.

The french oil companies have done well out of it, that's what Gadhafi got for contemplating getting rid of the petrodollar and trying to influence the whole region to do the same!

Yes, I'm sure that;s true.

Revolution brings about worse conditions than existed before and the so-called Arab spring was just a front for more islamic control of an already sensitve region.

We will all suffer for it.

You forgot to mention, no democracy, the secret police, detention without trial, torture, murder, terrorist support ........

But anyway, we only helped the Libyan people get what they wanted, to throw off a corrupt dictator to gain freedom........now it's up to them to make the most of this opportunity

It's worse for it, but at least it is not interfering in other peoples countries and causing harm elsewhere.
