Why should the country give up their constitution because some school decided not to emplace security?
You don't mind armed security when it comes to the bank that protects your money. And you dont even mind bringing your children into the bank who see that their are armed personell. You consider this normal right? When it comes to protecting your cash? But you consider this an abnormal precaution when it comes to protecting your precious children? Where is this mental disconnect coming from here? Shame on anti-gun activists for promoting a "false solution" which obviously will never work. Case in point. Every day maximum security prisons after doing cell shakedowns come upon homemade and real guns. If you cant keep em out of maximum security prisons what planet do you have to be on to assume that they can keep black market guns off the streets? You can go on you tube and get instruction on how to make a shotgun out of PVC pipe and a nail.So ban PVC pipe and nails right? You can also go on youtube and learn how to make homemade bullets and shotgun shells. You can also go online and learn hoe to assemble a very effective flamethrower with a supersoaker, gasoline, and a BBQ lighter. So Get real. And find a school that is lucid enough to have armed security in the building, especially at the entry.
In Philadelphia their schools have armed security guards, and faculty is trained and licensed to carry and use a firearm. The teachers themselves are armed. You wont see a Sandy Hook in Philadelphia. Maybe its time the rest of the country pull its head out of its preverbal ------ and adopt the same measures YA THINK???!

I don't agree. The reason people are getting shot is because they are unarmed. Mutually assured durance works.
Nunitak is experienced with men under 30 and USA society generally and thoroughly, and would stiffen gun access for all to include training plus mental and psychoactive drug use screening in particular -- that last with emphasis -- and a high threshold.
Due diligence by parents or relatives required too, that has succeeded as a preventative. There is INFO overload without fundamentals plus corrupting videos in excess for too many youth. Even the New Testament predicted youth going astray long ago, speaking of now.
Mental screening necessary in my view. No access to parent's guns too unless passed and certified. No sale, including ammo, without certificate or license verifiable online, copy kept with sales record.
