The solar system passing through a "photon belt" near Alcyone? Good story, but photons do not form belts, Alcyone is moving away from us and it was all supposed to happen about 1958.

No one can predict when the world end. There has been so many days the world was going to "end."

No the main reason they say it was going to end was because the Mayan calendar stated that it was going to end. But if you look the the Mayans just repeated everything and now also they have found newer calandra stating the world will not end
