Politicians have nothing to do with that. It's people like the Koch brothers who are controlling it now.
No how often have you seen oil prices actually go down by a significant amount. Once they are up the oil companies keep them there so they can make more profit.
Supply and demand. Once there is a glut you'll see the prices drop, but you will notice that each time this happens (and it will happen again) the price doesn't quite go back to it's original price.
It is highly unlikely, but perhaps as a bribe for voters, but there will be a catch in that some way.
come to my place, you have to pay 12 dollars a gallon here. so stop bickering and buy a more fuel efficient car or drive less and use a bike.
