Central Florida in 2004 experienced 3 hurricanes in 6 weeks; Charlie, Irene and Jeanne. The house was surrounded by water and accessible only by canoe. The roof was damaged, ceiling collapsed in th eliving room leaving an exposed attic for over a month afterwards. There was no toilet as the septic tanks were flooded. Through all this we still lived in the house because there was no where else to go. I had snakes, gaters, spiders and other critters that were displaced by these storms come into the yard and house. I never want to go through that again!
-I Once saw a Beautiful Field of Wildflowers- bulldozed to make Way for a Parking Lot... It was the WORST Natural Disaster I've ever Seen. :*(
The hurricane in Britain in 1987 ,thought the night would never end. All the staff of our branch came to work although they lived in different parts of London.,Thousands could not get out of their streets because of fallen trees and debris.
Tornadoes but I have never been hit directly. The worst thing that would happen is damage to the house or cars.
Cyclone Tracy that hit Darwin in 1974. Never been so scared in my life
Hurricane Hugo. Was a dark and stormy night.
I think it was 1996, earthquake..
