There are over 50 charges against him. Any one of which is enough to put him away in prison basically for the rest of his life.

I don't really see how the defense team can sleep at night with their "it's a mental disorder!" defense. I don't think any one will be convinced by that. If anything, if I were on the jury, I'd feel insulted by such a ludicrous claim. Even if it IS true, even the mentally ill can still be found guilty of crimes.

Honestly, Sandusky condemned himself when he gave that national interview on Nightline where he admitted to showering with boys and engaging in "horseplay" with them. I have no idea what sort of stupid lawyer agreed to that sort of thing.

It's a good thing Paterno passed away awhile ago. At least his testimony can't be used against Sandusky. Also, being dead, he'll make a great scapegoat.

He does not have a personality disorder. The defense is allowed to use any lie they want (no matter how unbelievable it is) to try and get the defendant off.
