Where were you at 9/11?

Or what do you remember?

I was 9, so I was at school, in my fourth grade class. I lived only about 40 minutes away from the Pentagon. I remember the moment that me and all the other kids knew something was wrong, when the teacher next door to us came into our classroom looking VERY upset and panicked, and she started whispering something to our teacher. The teachers kept acting weird like that and then parents started coming to pick their kids up early. But nobody would tell us anything. I stayed at school all day because my parents decided against coming to get me since they thought the school was probably the safest place for me to be. But when I got home that afternoon, I found out what happened finally. My parents had the TV on so I saw everything and my mom explained to me what happened. Such a scary and sad day, RIP to all of the victims.

I was 5, so I was in Kindergarten. I didn't know about the attacks until I got home. My dad told me to be quiet and watch the TV. Towers falling? Yeah, thats some scary stuff to watch on the tv. It wasn't until I was 9 that I fully understood what had happened.

I was 2 so I don't remember, but my mom said I was taking a nap when it happened

In Britain, at school.

They stopped our lessons and called us into assembly, playing the news on TV. Most of us were crying.

Lying on the table at the chiropractor's office getting my back straightened out.

I was 6, and it was a school day, so I was already at school

I was at college and saw it all on the big screen

at school and I didn't care back then and I still don't.

I was at my own country pretty far from there........

Or what do you remember?
