I think so. It was whatever our first nuclear weapons were called that were produced after the tests. It wasn't the H-bomb. I believe it was indeed called and A-bomb.

Of course not. An atomic bomb even a simple primitive one would have destroyed much of the city,not just two buildings. The asker should stop searching for a "reason" We know what happened.I saw it on TV from the UK. Two or more aircraft were hijacked by Muslim terrorists and flown into the buildings in a suicide attack to protest against Palestine. There were no explosives planted or anything.
