Jerry Sandusky should be executed! He is a worthless human being and he ruined the lives of countless boys. For the state to pay to feed and house this monster for the rest of his life is disgusting. There is no way to rehabilitate this man, and he knew full well what he was doing. He is a serial pedophile rapist and should be put to death. The world would be better place without him in it.
My knee jerk reaction is yes he should his rapes of these male children the life's he has destroyed he is despicable the lowest of the low. Yet to put another to death for a crime that doesn't involve death opens the door for other lesser crimes to receive the death penalty and while I'm pro death penalty it is reserved for those with murderous ways.
A miserable life in prison with the ever present threat of being attacked (thieves and murderers HATE child sexual abusers) for the next twenty years will be an appropriate punishment.
He still hasn't admitted guilt or apologized and for that he should undergo hard labor. There is no punishment that will bring back the innocence and trust of those young men he abused. Personally, I'd like to shut him away from all contact from society for the remainder of his life.
I'm not saying that he should be executed, but I'm definitely annoyed that my tax dollars are keeping a child molester alive, fed, and sheltered for the rest of his life. Can't we just drop him over Africa somewhere and have him fend for himself against the wild animals and wilderness? If he dies, it's his own fault - our hands are clean.
In my perspective yes. But that would be doin him a favor, he has a good 20+ years of his life left that he will spend in solitary confinement which is alright with me.
