Honestly it's hard to say. And it depends how much information you have on the subject. I have most of the information on the subject and I can say it was either:
1. We were told it was muslim terrorists named "Al Qaeda" (which by the way translates to 'the toilet' Not sure why a group would call themselves that) And they hijacked planes and totally blindsided us. And we never saw it coming and Osama Bin Laden was behind it.
2. But since now we know the hijackers were CIA assets (some of them anyway) and the building was a controlled demolition and most people in power knew the attacks were coming many months in advance, it blows what we were told out of the water.
3. Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld knew the attack was coming and wanted to let it happen as a premise for invading Iraq (which we had absolutely no reason to invade). Saddam hated terrorists.
4. Most of the evidence points to Netanyahu as the mastermind of the attack and probably using the Mossad (Israeli Secret Service). The CIA probably figured out what was happening and was like, "Are you sure?" and too many people stood to profit from the terrorist attack happening. It would be fantastic for Israel, and the U.S. economy (we thought), and Bush/Cheney/Rumfeld wanted their little war.
5. I think the general consensus among the super-elites was that they should let it happen but minimize the damage. It is unclear what part, if any, Osama Bin Laden played in this. The hijackers probably didn't even know what the planes were going to do. The Mossad was watching them carefully, but they might have been babysitting them.
6. Basically, and regretfully, it looks like a handful of bad Jews (and powerful ones) put the thing together and somehow passed it off as for the Greater Good. Everyone had a stake in it.
7. Mohammed Atta is still alive, as are a number of the hijackers. It's also unclear how many people were actually in the building. (how many were sacrificed), but I would assume the government would have loaded the planes with everyone who knew too much or they just wanted to liquidate, and maybe even done the same with the 'front' companies that were in the building.
8. It definitely wasn't cool, and someone should take responsibility for it, but they won't. The last fifteen years have been built off of this false premise.
9. Hopefully a lot less people died than was reported. Some have even speculated that the planes were empty and controlled remotely (they all took roundabout paths that crossed into radar gaps) Also others have noted the conspicuous lack of furniture in the demolition, computers, desks, chairs, it was like the buildings were empty.
10. But it definitely wasn't some random hard-core Muslims that came out of nowhere and surprised everyone.
So if there were any religious reasons, it would be Jewish antagonism of Muslim extremists. It's possible Osama Bin Laden did put together the attacks, but Netanyahu sort of commandeered the whole plot and steered it toward his own benefit.
Who knows. People who run the world do crazy things.
I can remember when 700 Club's Pat Robertson claimed that Hurricane Katrina was caused by New Orleans having so much voodoo practiced within their city. He also mentioned the ungodliness of the Mardi Gras, and I agree that Mardi Gras is a time of surprising depravity.
When an earthquake shattered Haiti and killed hundreds of thousands of people? Pat Robertson brought up voodoo yet again.
I have a real problem with statements like this, because I don't believe that God killed people over Mardi Gras or voodoo.
I can remember when four little black girls were killed while attending Sunday school at their church. Did God kill them too?
God never said that bad things wouldn't happen to good people. Look at what happened to the disciples of Jesus and the first Christians to spread the gospel. The Old Testament Prophets led lives of extreme hardship and misery. Noah's entire family were the town joke.
If you want to write about why God caused the 9/11 attacks? Take a tip from Pat Robertson. New York is a Godless city inside a Godless nation.
However? All cities are. No matter how many churches a city may have? They are always dens of iniquity. That's according to Pat Robertson anyway.
Additional Answer - Obviously? I misunderstood your question. Here is what I know about their religious beliefs...
We are called a Christian nation throughout the world. Muslims think of Christians as infidels. We refused to accept their prophet Mohammed. The Muslims are disgusted that we think God would impregnate a mortal virgin woman and have her bear His son. They don't believe that Jesus took on the sins of the whole world and died as our Savior. However, they do believe in Jesus and they respect him as a prophet.
About extremists...
The Muslim extremists were more than religious fanatics. They saw themselves as fighting against US interference in the middle east. Our foreign policies had caused hardship for their families and friends.
They think of the Jewish people as pigs, and they want them out of Israel. Christians are infidels, and America is the Great Satan.
I've told you what I remember, but you need to fact-check what I've said. I could be wrong.
'Sorry about the misunderstanding.
It stems from the Khazarian's belief that they are the 'chosen ones' of their psychopathic 'god' YahWeh.
Such egotistical interpretations of ancient texts are the antithesis of the true 'spiritual' message.
In this case I think that the 'religion' is interpreted and thus used as a personal and collective justification for acts and behaviour which is morally reprehensible to the vast majority of humanity.
.
Im writing something, and I need a reason why the 9/11 attacks happened, but more on the religious side (not any political reasons etc). Don't be afraid to go into detail although its not necessary..thnx.
