It would be attempted murder, or manslaughter in some jurisdictions depending upon the circumstances.
Without the lungs and heart producing and pumping oxygen around the body, the brain can function just minutes before irreversible catastrophic damage occurs. Person B would need to be revived momentarily, and Person A would be charged thereafter.
Since person B finally did live, it is not murder. It is attempted murder.
I believe this is when you will hear cases like Manslaughter
odd question, but maybe somebody can answer it for me. if person A shoots person B and person B dies, Person A would go to jail for murder right? but if the hospital revives person B, does person A face time for murder(since person B did die at one point) or attempted murder ? just wondering.
