Is it safe to go outside today?

Shropshire.. not a breath of wind or drop of rain.

The storm is expected to 'centre' mostly in the south-east.

Back in '87 - the weather-forecaster M FISH dismissed similar predictions of 'turbulence' - confident the wind-tunnel (aka The English Channel) would pull the 'centre' further east - but was mistaken.

Yesterday he confirmed current day forecasting is 10 times more accurately 'reliable' - and it WILL be a stormy night - around where I live (in Suffolk). Around 1 - 8am (Sunday night/Monday morninng)..

Time to batten down the hatches - and hope garden sheds aren't blown into neighbours' gardens.

If you're home by Midnight in Manchester - you ought to be OK - but have some candles or torches readily to hand - in case the National Grid goes awry and power failures cast you into darkness.

Tonight there will be a storm from eight o clock till morning. You can do either, its your choice. Their is no need to exaggerate. May I tell you this that their will be wind at 80MPH. Just in case you don't know MPH stands for Miles Per Hour.

Just a lttle of wind. Even though every risk is worth taking as long as it's for a good cause, and contributes to a good life. From now on I hope it (the wind) gets stong enougt to blow some of these immigrants back where they came from.

Gopher: If I was you, I'd think about skedaddlin' out of here.

Winnie the Pooh: Why?

Gopher: 'Cause it's "Winds-day."

Owl: This is just a mild spring zephyr compared to the big wind of '67. Or was it, uh, '76? Oh, well, no matter.

Don't worry. It's a perfect storm. No damage just a spectacle.

Are u being serious!!!! If there really was gonna be a storm that's gonna kill us dya think anyone would waste here time being on here

The driving advice is not to unless you have to. If you have to, drive slowly and expect trees across roads. Your car will not be blown away!

No.

It is the Teddy-bear's picnic.

you will be fine if your car is chitty chitty bang bang

Ok so you guys heard of the storm that is coming tonight right?
