I'm a nurse and trust me when I tell you that if your clothes needed to be cut off which they probably weren't then they'd be there in a bag for at the hospital and they would have saved any items of value like phones. No, they do NOT donate people's clothing ever. A hospital is not going to give someone else germ, puke, poop and contaminated clothing to anyone. If a patient doesn't want them then they'll dispose of them.

I think you owe those people a big debt of gratitude for saving your drunken, irresponsible butt instead of accusing them of cutting off your stinky and probably pee-soaked clothes. You're damned lucky you're alive and breathing and are living to see another day. People DIE of alcohol intoxication every day.

I guess you have been given good advice about contacting the hospital. But to make a police report would be interesting if you were that drunk. How do you know what you did with anything. Are you even sure you had your clothes on? I don't believe that hospital donate clothing. Why didn't you ask while you were in the hospital?

How so odd America handles things ?Why would they cut off your clothes,and how have you got home without your clothes? So odd. You will have dressed and gone home.Call them to ask about your phone.

There's no logical reason to cut your clothes off if you were just drunk. People do stupid things sometimes though. But in any case they should have kept track of and returned any belongings that were in your pockets etc.

I don't think that any hospital donate clothes without information to the owner. Even if they donate then they would take out personal belongings. You should first ask about it in the hospital. If they refuse you should report the polce.

I was sent to the emergancy hospital in an ambulance. I was very intoxicated from drinking a whole bottle of Vodka by itself and by myself and im very thin so my body couldn't handle that much. I got told that I almost died or actually did but they revived me. They never mentioned a thing to me about my clothes after I woke up. I did wake up naked and with a hospital gown. For this situation do you think they cut off my clothes? or should I call? I really need them back because my clothes had my phones. Also do hospitals donate peoples clothes without them knowing sort of like my situation?
