I live in the Midwest, and I read an article a while back about the cicada outbreak on the East coast.The next day I was at a yard sale and two women were talking about cicadas. How this was a horrible year for them, when it would start, etc. I finally said 'WAIT! I can't stand this!' and told them the facts. 'Oh, no.' they say, 'that can't be true, it was on the local news last night!' The reporter had read the same article I did, but not far enough down.
