Oh you are my hero how wonderful of you yes go ,you don't need to go with anyone I bet you that you won't be leaving alone you sound like someone special you won't be alone for long your karma will be good stand tall and be proud of who you are and make a difference
Well im 16 myself and if i wanted to help in such as a event as you are taking part in then yes I would go on my own, Well if you went with your friends you would most likely to not as much work as you would if you was on your own :)
You might think your alone but you aint as alone as some poor bugger with terminal cancer.Go for it and be proud of yourself.World could do with a few more like you..
the fact that you`re going alone will give you more kudos...the others will see you`re there for the fund raising and nothing else.

I got invited to an event which is a 'Fund-raising for Cancer Research' event. A lot of people are going to go there (16-18 year olds but mostly all will be 16) and i don't know any of them apart from the one who invited me (who is the hostess). I want to go and help with the fund-raising but i have no one to go with. I was just wondering if its weird to go alone and would like an honest opinion. I'm 18 years old.
