Why do Americans keep pretending it has a left wing?
By global standards, the US has two conservative political parties and no actual liberals whatsoever.
Americans pretending the more moderate of their parties is liberal doesn't magically make it so.
Which begs the question of why Americans would do that in the first place?
After all, by pretending the US has liberals, it's just Americans perpetuating the Dumb American Stereotype that's help make the US such a laughingstock to the International Community.
