It is not general practice for any church, abbey or Cathedral to 'market itself.' That would be against Jesus' own thoughts on the matter. I'm referring to the fact that he is said to have kicked the money lenders out of the temple in Jerusalem.

I am not sure if you mean the London Westminster Abbey (that should be in capitals)
Its a church,an ancient church. Its also a great tourist attraction. I am not sure how they market themselves,if they do at all ?
They don't have to .The educated world and would be tourists all know about it and more so now in the era of television and social media.
It just sort of sits there with the door open...
