Your question contains a lot of assumptions, that make it difficult to give a constructive answer. For example, as part of your question, you ask: "And Why Do You Believe The Government Won't Tell Us The Truth?"
Well, that assumes they AREN'T telling us the truth, which is kind of leading the witness, if you follow my drift. And having assumptions like that is probably guiding your own look into all of this, and what you're likely to find. If you really are just 17, you should try to be open. (Heck, EVERYONE should try to be open - but you're about to go out and leave your mark on the world, so try and do it wisely.)
Also, I seriously doubt 9/11 was an inside job. Not that Bush etc. didn't try to reap the reward. During the 90's, the Project for the New American Century (a think tank that later went on to pretty much become the Bush Administration) anticipated the opportunity an attack like this would present.

Frankly, I think it's a defence mechanism that you use so as not to engage in actual debate.
I've heard a few 9/11 theories but none of them seemed true enough to look deeper into it. There is no single truth to be told. Everyone will have a fact and opinion that they believe is most relevant. Yes we are being lied to constantly and there are large omissions of relevant facts. Don't turn to the news to give you the truth because finding and exposing the truth is not really what the news is about. The best you can do is to understand the motives behind what people say and develop your instincts to understand what really happened. Don't expect anyone else to believe you though because they find comfort with the style in which information is shoveled to them through the news. Consider that Obama's birth certificate has been proven to be a forgery and how few people care. Proof of a 9/11 conspiracy would find the same reaction. Also consider that if you google any wild *** theory you invent you will probably find some information in the world that can support it. It only means the information has subjective bias.
That which others have only surmised, you (At 17 and female) have put your finger on it. Research plus little common sense has given rise to a suspicion that something (Maybe everything0 is not right in the accounts of the happenings on the morning of September 11th. Yes, airplanes flew into the Twin Towers. Yes it brought down both buildings, yes, other planes were involved (One apparently brought down by its own passengers) another causing some damage to a national security ininstallation but who master-minded the attack? You wonder if it was planned from within the USA, given the mysterious circumstances.That will lead you to examine a motive. That's your next line of inquiry.
Islamic fundamentalists hijacked planes on September 11 2001 and flew two planes in to the twin towers, one in to the pentagon and one was brought down in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, that is what I believe. You say "after hours of research" if I was to consider an alternative to 9/11 I would have to conduct years of research, if you can be convinced of anything after just hours of research then perhaps you are a little naive (I don't mean to be rude). Perhaps if you question what you now believe and try objectively to disprove your current beliefs you may realise that actually the 9/11 attacks were as reported in the media to a large extent, much of the events of 9/11 are ambiguous and neither the main stream media or a "9/11 truther" can assert that they "know" what happened.
After the Cold War ended, the US military no longer needed a reason to be so large and expensive. But 9/11 and the War on Terror gave the military a reason to be large and expensive. Government contractors have made billions off of these wars. And the only thing we've done in Iraq and Afghanistan is give their people a reason to hate us.
An example of the latest tragedy is a US funded military hospital in Afghanistan where patients are kept in “Auschwitz-like” conditions. Notice you haven't heard anything about it on the news.
Much has been said about 911 but there is no proof that the government did this act of terrorism as an *inside job*

--if it was an inside job, BOTH conservatives, liberals, CIA, FBI, and police authorities are on it, do you think that is possible especially when you *probably* know the ill feeling liberals and conservatives have against each other????
--if it was an inside job, why liberals did not use it as their signature campaign theme for the 2004 and 2008 elections???
--if it was an inside job, how is it possible that there are no whistle blowers???... whoever tell will become a national hero....!!
--when the Watergate Scandal - where no one was killed - the media and the liberals forced Nixon to resign, are you naive enough to believe that liberals and the media would have missed the chance to force George W. Bush to resign???????

I am an Englishman in Britain. On that terrible day I was watching the television BBC and they suddenly switched over to New York in time to see the second plane crash into the building. The first plane had already hit and you could see bodies and luggage dropping from it.Scenes that were later censored. Why should anything happen other than did happen?. I have related this memory so many times.
19 terrorists hijacked 4 planes and attempted to crash them into buildings. Three were successful while the fourth's attempt was thwarted by the passengers on the plane. This is the only conclusion that is supported by all the evidence.

What happened after the atrocity as depts, analysts & politicians looked around to see who was to blame. Most blamed one another for not seeing it coming.
When GW said in a historic address to the world, 'You are either with us or against us' things fell into place & an instigated attack on Afghanistan gained world approval to punish the Taliban, who the US administration blamed.
Once the war was on-going the US admin intended to expand an attack to Iraq.
Now Iraq was on sceptical & unproven claims.
WMDs ( never found ) accusations of saddams connections to terrorists ( never proved ) during a relentless campaign only the countrys infrastructure & civil targets were bombed, meanwhile the Oil ministry remained intact unaffected.
Many politicians admitted after saddam had been removed, Iraq was for the countrys untapped Oil.
Even Greenspan said so.
Oil for US interests & strangely enough associates of the Bush family & friends.
