Elvis passed away in the early afternoon hours of August 16th 1977. Elvis had a large bathroom in the 2nd story of Graceland. In the dressing area of the bathroom, he had a chair where he would often sit and read books. His then girlfriend, Ginger Aldean found him slumped over in front of the chair with books scattered around him.
Elvis' health was already deteriorating due to his prescription drug abuse. He had ailments such as glaucoma, high blood pressure, liver damage, and an enlarged colon, most likely caused by extensive drug abuse. Elvis was officially pronounced dead on August 16th 1977 3:30 pm. Although, his case was handled improperly, no official cause was listed. Reports do suggest Elvis died from a massive heart attack.
Of a massive heart attack, brought on by gaining to much weight not enough exercise and taking prescription medication. We lost an America icon and there has never been another that could ever take his place,
Of course I live in Memphis, Tn and I can honestly say he was the best looking man I have ever seem. Her did a lot to help those in need. He found out that someone stole this elderly woman's wheelchair, He went and brought one and took it to her. He never called the media or had someone to make a big deal out of it, that was the kind of person he truly was. And we still miss him terribly.

Elvis died on the toilet from a drug overdose and he was clogged up from one end to the other with peanutbutter and banana sandwiches. It was like cement.
