I have a horrible feeling about this case - very confusing, but in the back of my mind something very wrong was going on in Tia's life - either she ran away from something or someone or she was murdered to shut her up about something or someone.
I'm not surprised the police have not released more details - we already know that vigilantes were operating in the area of where Tia had been living. My thinking is that the police do not want worse to happen and are thus remaining quiet until they've got all the facts.
I saw something in the Metro recently which was a real eye opener. It concerned a group of botanists who found a way of proving beyond all reasonable doubt as to the guilt of a person involved in a crime. What they did was to take samples of pollen in the car used in a murder case. They then took samples of pollen at the murder scene and presto matched them up.

Yes but unfortunately she was found too late. Her body was found in her grandparent's attic and her step-grandfather has been arrested
