The Russians started making a lot of noise calling John Kerry a liar over his unsupported claim that Assad govermnet carried out the attacks and that they had proof that the rebels staged the chemical terror attacks so that the US could invade.
Meanwhile American citizens finally realized that their leaders have used the same "they are killing their own people" and "chemical weapons threat" one to many times and said no to another mass murder campaign against Arab Christians and Muslims.
War has been called off for now. The real question is why were the media pushing so hard for the war in the first place when the entire world saw it for the scam that it was?
There never was a "war" with Syria. There never was going to be. The UN peace plan has worked and the Chemical weapons stocks of Assad are now being destroyed.
Well.... apparently we are going to destroy their chemical weapons in Syria. But somehow that doesn't seem possible because it takes so much time to destroy these things. And sadly enough, Syria has plenty of the raw materials to make more. But at least we didn't end up with a war.
Russia got the US to agree to not assault Syria and for Syria to agree to turn over Assad's chemical weapons to a third party which they are complying with. Meanwhile, the insurgents who have chemical weapons are trying to stop this liaison because they want to overthrow Assad. So Israel and Saudi's plan to destroy Syria and Iran and the jihadis plan to establish an Islamic state still could work because the U.S. allies are still sending them aid and military equipment.

I've been on a month long cruise and I blacked out all news feeds. I thought we were going to bomb and go to war with Syria. Did some one decide to give peace a chance?
