I guess the worst that can happen to you - judging by the answers I read here - is that you can be "grounded" for 21 days. But for the rest of the East coast (and part of the whole country), it will be worst.
That was a picture made putting all the parameters that are affecting Sandy now, with the exclusion of the third storm and the big "eye" allowing a depression to "suck in" cold air into the equation and bringing a new ice age in days.
There won't be an "ice age", but the social impact (people displaced, loss of property and increment in lawlessness), the economic dragg on the system (Wall street closed, loss of bussinesses, damages costs, etc), disruption on the political process (there might be reasons to postpone elections for a month or so), will be more than ever witnessed in the History of the USA.
And all these factors are just the beginning of pains...
I am 15 too and I love storms! Well, Hurricane Sandy was just downgraded from a Hurricane to a storm so It cant be that bad. It is doing a lot of damage to the coast though. I live in Ohio and we are even supposed to get hit by the outside ring of it. We are going to get high winds so It's a pretty big "Storm" If you ask me. I'm VERY excited beause I just love weather! The worst case scenario BTW would be It destroys at the homes out there.
It was just downgraded to a tropical storm so the media overreacted yet again.
Worst case scenario? Everyone dies.
I'm very interested in this storm, I dont know why :) I'm a 15 year old just looking to see whats everyone's opinions on this :) Use as much detail as you want and any opinions on this
