No it will not end
That theory has been provoked by the "End of the Mayan Calender". Only a segment of the Mayan calender ends on Friday. The Mayans didn't include leap days in the calender, anyways. So the world would've ended by now under such circumstances. Just as we get a new calender around the New Year, the Mayans would be about to make a new one. There is no science behind the 12/21/12 apocalypse. No worries, if the world was going to end by natural means, we'd know about it at least 10 years in advance.
Listen to me, kiddo. There is NOTHING to be scared of. Friday is just another day. Nothing is going to happen. If you believe in God, then you know that the second coming would be when the world will end and we'll be forced into Armageddon. There is no real proof that the end of the world will happen. At 14, the only thing you should be concerned with is if that boy you have a crush on likes you back, if your report card is good enough for your parents, and what you're getting for Christmas. Hey, There is no need to be scared. People believe that the end of the world is this year because of what is said in the Mayan calander. The Mayans believed that the world would end 21st Dec 2012 in their calander. However we are now running on a Julian calander which encludes leap years. The julian calander is the first to include leap years. Therefore if you remove the leap years and continue to use the mayan calander we would now be somewhere in the middle of 2014 so if the mayans prediction was correct the world would have ended around 2 years ago. There is no need to worry. Live your life and smile :D
No. The date 12/21/12 is not mentioned anywhere in the bible and is only supposed to be the end of the Mayan calendar. All calendars end, right? Just relax and wake up on that day knowing nothing will happen. Probably the best day to do last minute shopping, considering some people will be stupid enough to start hiding under ground lol. OK, firstly can I just say - this apocalypse was originally predicted in 2003, and when nothing happened, they quietly moved it forward to 2012, when the result will be the same.
NASA, an extremely successful and technologically/scientifically advanced company, have researched and debunked every apocalypse theory (all of which have no evidence by the way).

These "world ends" reports are based upon the interpretation of a Mayan calendar, which requires specialist knowledge to understand. If you look at it simply - as one cycle ends - another starts.

No, it will not. During research in Mayan ruins, they have found evidence that the Mayan's had notes regarding future events, way ahead of this Friday. So the fact that people is saying that everything ends Friday "according to the Mayan's" are wrong. But people like to make big things out of nothing. Relax and enjoy. You will enjoy years to come. No, it will not end. The 21st of Dec. simply signifies the end of the Mayan calendar...not the end of the world. Continue to get ready for the Christmas holidays and have a happy time,okay?? Yes. The Mayan calendar which we all base our calendars off of ends in 2012. Due to this completely valid ancient artifact we must come to the conclusion that sense this man made thing ends on 2012 then our real world is going to end as well. Asking if the world doesn't end is almost like asking if Jesus was real. So logically the world MUST end in 2012, hope you said your prayers.
