When you hear about people suffering and dying...?

NO To give a straight answer,I dont give the "underdeveloped" countries a second thought, except when they come here. Its all been going on so long and will never end, its a bottomless pit. The people make no attempt to help them-selves but sit back and wait for "help" to arrive.

Since the people in Oxford who established Oxfam in the 30s to the pop concerts of Band Aid in the 80s,every new generation just arrives hungry.

The real solution is contraception to try and limit the amount of mouths to feed.

I don't have to think about 3rd world country's I live in a war zone right here in the good ol USA. Where I live there are about 3 or 4 killings a night. Everybody cares but nobody can stop it. The city I live in is a crime spree and its all because of drugs! Cocaine and Meth and Heroine and the good people live with loaded guns and fear that they may have to kill the Idiots. We will have a child being murdered about 3 or 4 a year either by drive byes or child molesters. And it makes the good people very angry. At one time we had a group called the guardian Angels but they ran away real fast because they were outnumbered by the criminals

Sad as it is, there are people suffering in this country. When I read about young people living on the streets of this country I get upset. That is why I support a charity that helps to get these kids into a hostel back into education so that they can get a job and a place of their own eventually.

While it would be nice to help everyone, we need to help ourselves. Our cities and rural areas are full of people who need our help.

The best help I can give to the third world, is ditch the world banking system and make your own money.

I'd like to think I'm not so jaded that I couldn't feel for these people . One question 'If that were my husband/wife/child/parent' is enough to bring it home. Do I care? Yes.

problems huh.. children are dying of cancer here and now in the uk, why do you seek to devalue their suffering? i think people are starting to cotton onto this racist abstraction, that seems meat and drink to rich liberal left wing sensibilities. lefties you go hate on your own time not ours..

I know everyone has problems but am talking about the people in underdeveloped countries or country in war. where they fear for their life every second.

Can you put yourself in their shoes? Do you actually care?
