I know in America your health care,or lack of it is very limited,but thats no excuse to die. At the very least it looks as if you want some Alpha or Beta blockers to regulate your heart beat as I have,but it could be much more serious.
I fear the asker may not be alive to read this but Please dont waste time on here and rush of to your Emergency room or what ever passes for health care in your country.
Sounds like you've had a really bad dream, worrying about it won't do you any good.
It could have been a heart attack. Why not go to a doctor?

I have really bad heart palpitations so it beats irregularly, pauses and sometimes feels like its going to just stop, and it can. Last night I had a dream I was under water and I couldn't get up to the top. I was tryng to reach and swim but I was just stuck. I was thinking "I refuse to breathe in water" so in the dream I started feeling like my body was dying and I blacked out. I felt comfortable, really comfortable. But I still wasn't breathing. Then I felt my whole body jump, literally jerk so hard and my heart started beating and I gasped for air. My heart only beated once so I could only gasp once then I was lying there and it started beating REALLY slowly and a fib (irregularly)and I could slowly breathe, my whole body was shaking and I felt really slow. Did I like die or something? I feel like I've been hit by a truck...
