The Boston attack is more likely to be a home grown terrorist crime rather than something planned by a foreign power. The perpetrators will be caught.
I've been watching the news coverage, and apparently there was 2 explosions at the Boston marathon. 2 were killed, 23 injured so far. They have confirmed that the police found a 3rd explosive and set it off before it hurt anyone. I also heard of there being a 4th explosive found but they haven't confirmed it yet. Security in the White House has tightened, and so has a couple other places in the US just in case. If you have tv, watch the CBS special that's on right now, they are keeping everyone updated on what is happening. It is suspected to be bombs or a terrorist attack but again, not confirmed.
Two bombs went off at the finish line of the marathon. 2 are confirmed dead, 23 are reported injured, and a third bombing at the JFK library was confirmed by Deval Patrick (Boston governor) and the head of the Boston Police.
The two bombs at the finish line went off at around 2:30 about 20 seconds after one another. It was reported that a man was seen on security cameras putting backpacks into trash cans just minutes before the explosions. A third one was found, undetonated, and the bomb squad is handling it.
At around 4:00-4:30, another explosion happened at the JFK library. The police are treating these bombings as related.
