Joseph Rao Kony (pronounced IPA: [ko?];[6] born around about July/September of 1961)[1] is the head of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), a Ugandan guerrilla group. While initially enjoying strong public support, the LRA turned on its own supporters, supposedly to "purify" the Acholi people and turn Uganda into a theocracy.[2] Kony proclaims himself the spokesperson of God and a spirit medium, has nurtured a cult of personality, and claims he is visited by a multinational host of 13 spirits, including a Chinese phantom.[2] Ideologically, the group is a syncretic mix of mysticism, Acholi nationalism, and Christian fundamentalism,[7][8][9][10][11][12][13]... and claims to be establishing a theocratic state based on the Ten Commandments and local Acholi tradition.[17][18][19]
He ordered the abduction of children to become child-sex slaves and child soldiers.[20] An estimated 66,000 children became soldiers and two million people have been internally displaced since 1986.[21] In 2005, Kony was indicted for war crimes by the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands, but has evaded capture.[22] The LRA operates in Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic and South Sudan.[23]
All i am going to tell you is don't believe all the sob stories you will hear, it has been proven 5 years ago that he was killed and since 1987 the Navy Seals have held operations to bring down the force in Africa that oppress their people. All of a sudden a YouTube video is made just to drive everyone crazy and start rage in the US. The ppl who have made the video have been proven 13 years ago to be military based, which is ok, but not when they tell the public they are not. The only explanation for these event is wealth to that organization.. don't be fooled, so ur research and you'll see the truth. The people who tell you other wise are the simple minded bunch that see the YouTube video and go soley on what they seen in the video because they are just very ordinary civilian people of their country, with no experience about or with military influences of Africa the US, France, or the UK.

Some guy in africa who enlists/kidnaps children to be his soldiers to keep him in power. been going on for like 20 years now, and some guy made a video about it that got popular... and then the maker of the video got arrested for public masturbation and car vandalism. fun fact.
I see all teenagers with Kony written all over them. Who is he exactly and what did he do. I only want a breif summary that is easy to understand.
