That is a stupid question. In order to know if a country is in its golden age, you need to know about its future, specifically whether or not it will perform worse than it currently does. Cuz nobody can tell for sure about the future. Your question is invalid.

The world is suffering in the midst of the second Great Depression. Every nation on earth is struggling for its economic life. There WILL be some nations in their "golden age". But, we have to emerge from this Depression, first. At the present time, I would have to guess that China is on the fast track for the greatest economic explosion.

Right now, it seems that no one is in their golden age. We just got shut down, China doesn't have enough room, Russia just sux, nobody is doing really well.
