It was a bad slip and one that will be made the most of no doubt,but surely it was as much the fault of his special branch dectectives (the PM does not go around alone) it was up to them to ensure it was safe for the PM to leave and that includes him having his family with him. The child could have been a kidnapping victim)

And if anyone believes this drivel they are even dumber than they think. Cameron and co. think this a wheeze. Why have we never heard of this 'forgetfulness' until today, when it has been revealed by a father (not Cameron) on national television? Where were his bodyguards? Was there nobody else in the pub? Does Cameron really expect us to swallow this tripe, or is he jumping on the bandwagon to show us all what an ordinary bloke he is?
