It is a sad fact my friend that this action by the authorities has to be undertaken,But not a war zone as you describe, merely ,=Better Safe Than Sorry = but my feeling is, another great costing upon the extremely high and obscene costing of these Olympics, which should not have been sanctioned in any event due to the state of the countries finances.money frittered away that should have been placed more effectively to assist citizens who needed it,and there are plenty of those around. Whenever i read a variety of sources you will never 100% of the truth, though the Olympics is `not a warzone' - yet it has been opened it is limited to 6,000 people at this time. There was no mentioning about any terrorism. when it opens in 27th july i dont think there will be any attacks. (hope not)

As a Londoner, I question everything. I question the motive of your question. I love London feel our Olympics will be the best ever, and am sure my parents who were in WWII one sleeping at a tube station regularly would not look upon my City as a war zone, just tight preventative security to deter. No.I would never be enraged by anything HM forces do as I know they are for our protection. We have often sick determined people who would go to any lengths to harm us and they dont care if they die in the process.Thats what makes them doubly dangerous. Its always better to be safe than sorry,thats why London has become a "war zone" Hope this helps.
It's the Governments fear machine, these armaments "prove" there is a threat, and without our cunning Government we all be in mortal danger, but they are on the ball and will stop any aggressor before they start!
And TBH, if there this worried about a terrorist attack then they need to think about scraping the whole thing.

Personally speaking, I wouldn't be at all surprised if there is a false flag attack at the Olympics because with the whole world watching it would be the perfect excuse to bring in more of their draconian laws in the name of security. It would also serve as a pretext to another war. Don't for one second think they wouldn't do this because if you do your research you will find PLENTY of proof that this has happened before and whats more scary is there is a growing body of evidence to suggest it will happen.
