It sounds pretty awful to me, deffinatley abuse, and if you can get other kids to testify against the school it sounds like you have a solid case if you can get a good lawyer. Laws against child abuse nowadays are very serious. However I am not sure what happens if you had to pay to go to that school. If your parents agreed to harsh punishment that may be considered okay if they have a contract or something. But other than that it sounds awful what you had to go through, sorry to hear that.

Yeah I think you have the grounds to sue them.That sounds scary. I'd hate to be in a place like that. Bread and water for seven days?? That's some crazy school.

I am not an expert and I don't give legal advice but this is NOT fair on you! Especially not being aloud shoes and blankets! I think that you might have a case here....

Ok so i was in a private unlicensed boarding school for about 9 months and i think they abused us wile we were there can you please confirm or not? Here's my story:

Ok so one day i talked to a pastor when we went to church telling him they don't feed us enough because i was always hungry don't get me wrong they fed us just enough to take a crap every 3 days but not so little we were unhealthy. So i got in trouble for saying that what i had to do was dig a ditch that was several feet in really rocky soil wile i was doing that i could take as long as i needed was which was a few days at fastest its just down right hard but wile you were on the ditch they gave you a pick and shovel to do it but wile you did it you only get 2 slices of bread and a cup of water per a meal i was so STARVED for several days not only that you don't get your shoes so im really freezing out there in mid December you have to sleep on the floor with no blankets (no heat) or pillow AND you cant take a shower. I have gone as long as 4 days without a shower got rained on in cold and got so muddy that you couldn't see the blue in my jeans. Just that alone i am wondering if that is abuse. I honestly could go on for several more stories but they are not as wild as this one. You can not have any contact with your parents (or anyone) unless they say so. So i only got to talk to my dad 1 time a week sometimes after i was there for a month and they listened to everything you said and they said without them knowing and sometimes tell you want you can say and cant talk about and cant talk about its messed up.

All i want to know is do i have grounds to sue them for child abuse / neglect? I am not the only one that's gone through this they have few other kids there that had to do things like this.
