Jjimmy savile guilty or not guilty?

Very freindly with gary glitter and johnathon king,,,,kind of tells you everything really

I am convinced he was guilty. I heard the rumours way back in the 70's, they were common knowledge. I just don't understand why they weren't acted on, if not by the police, then by the BBC.

I understand that if no complaints were made to police they could not act, but the BBC had an image to protect, surely they should have done something even if it was only to move him onto a show without his preferred age group.

All the complaints and stories told so far have been consistent. They same points come up over and over. No foreplay, the alcove in his dressing room, being pinned by body weight, the Rolls Royce being a favourite place, the preferred age of the girls etc. These women have probably never met before, but their stories and details have all been the same. His pattern of behaviour proves his guilt.

Unfortunately it's the same old story. Profits before people. As long as Saville was never taken to court the BBC could afford to turn a blind eye.

I never liked him and always felt he was creepy yes he did a lot of charity "work" but I truly believe there is no smoke without fire, what I will say is if the accusations are found to be true those whom he hid behind should now definitely be brought to justice.Saville will be Judged by a Higher Authority and there will be no hiding place. His Knighhood will be of no use to him as he stands before his Maker.

As he has not been tried - he should be presumed innocent.

Trial by media is not the law of the land.

If it mattered so much why did nobody bring these charges when he was alive or report him to the police?

The Sun is calling for him to be stripped of his knighthood (like he would care) - talk about blatant bandwaggon jumping. I certainly would not like to align with that rag.

Not guilty.

He cannot be tried so he cannot be guilty. It is all a shocking waste of taxpayers' money but sells loads of newspapers. (They can say what they like about the dead, and do.)

The police were expected take their revenge for Levenson - this is just the start.

Scotland Yard is also to reopen the investigation into the Sacking of Berwick upon Tweed, where 17,000 people, men, women and children were butchered.

I lean towards guilty based on so many claims from various backgrounds over many years also the witnesses one or two claims that differ we could say money seeking lies but so many and counting with similarities with many years of suspicion i say guilty as sin.

Guilty.

there was always rumours years ago , but nothing ever came from them. yes i feel the ladies involved are telling the truth, but i just wish that something had been done at the time to investigate and bring court proceedings against him. when he was alive was a better time to get answers not after his death when its impossible for him to answer these allegations.

By coincidence you have 12 answers - a jury. Guilty.

I dont know one way or another. How far can it go? In one of the wierd Trolls links, even Churchill is revealed as a child abuser.

I just dont know what ayone can do.?

celebrities die every day of the week, they manage to pop their mortal coil with out middle age women recounting stories of deviant behaviour..

guilty as foking sin like his protectors at the BBC.. check out newsnight still trying to cover up their shame as late as last year.

Ok so like the rest of society, when I first heard that a program was been brought out about the alleged abuse I said "don't be ridiculous" however, after watching the program now i'm not so sure and I think oh my god, did this trusted public figure do such a thing. Watching him and the way he was around young females only backs up the womens claims but what a shock to actually believe someone who did so much good could be so wicked. What are your views?

guilty
