Enlisting someone under 18 would be dangerous and stir up controversy. You really should not be worried at all, seeing as North Korea has been making empty threats of nuking countries for a long while. They don't even possess the nuclear technology to nuke America. Aside from military bases in Hawaii, everyone else is virtually untouchable and if a nuclear warhead did somehow find its way over here, it would be blown out of the sky. We have ground defenses that were made for a 600+ missile attack from Russia, not one or two small nukes from as far away as NK. As for South Korea, they have a little bit more to fret about, seeing as they are more than close enough to be nuked and they don't have an advanced armed forces. North Korea thinks they will get money from intimidating unallied countries.

You may however in a few years be called upon for a rehashed version of selective service that some fat senior congressmen are now proposing.
In the states today there is always a need of "cannon fodder" to carry the so called banner of freedom into countries where they don't belong in the name of stealing oil wealth for big business.
So stay in school, get a good education, and let the other fools who think it's their patriotic duty die for these same greedy congressmen who won't allow their own children go by deferment.
I don't think they can force you to enlist anymore, I think it was stopped after World War 2 and North Korea have been making threats for about 30 years and I think they will start on South Korea first.
