Trayvon's history of criminality and illegal activities was far more recent and persistent than Zimmerman's, which was all was 6-11 years before he shot Trayvon. The claims of molestation are flimsier than anything that has ever come out against Trayvon. While they shouldn't be discounted, and the accuser called in well before the case went national, she adamantly claimed he was racist, even though her claim is the only evidence Zimmerman was- when he was a registered democrat who voted for Obama, mentored black youth, waged a campaign against the local police for overlooking the beating of a homeless black man who was beaten by a police officer's son etc.
